Oceanside,California, September 19, 2003 -- Team Hyundai/Mongoose rider Fuzzy Hall is preparing to ride both dirt and street next weekend at the Vans Triple Crown in Oceanside. Fuzzy who usally just rides in dirt comps has had a bet with Jamie Bestwick to see who will place highest when they both ride in the street comp. If Fuzz loses he has to come off his strict low fat low carbs diet and eat nothing but burgers and pizza for a week. If Jamie loses he has to go on the Atkins diet for a week!! Watch this space to see if Jamie gets hungry or Fuzz gets fat! (9/19/03)

The UCI has added a new type of BMX race to the 2003 schedule, Downhill BMX. Its not new to USA BMX, as the X-Games has had this type of racing for the past 3 years, but the UCI has jumped on board and are holding a downhill event this weekend at no other than Woodward, PA. Hyundai/Mongoose Pro John Purse will try his hand at the Downhill race, and we will be here to keep you updated on his race performance. The Hyundai/Mongoose Pro team proudly drives the 2003 Hyundai Santa Fe. Hyundai/Mongoose is the #1 Ranked 4x Team for 2003 Kapruin, Austrai, September 15, 2003 -- After a long season on the UCI World Tour, The Hyundai/Mongoose team took home the World Ranked #1 Team award in the 4 Cross Class, this past weekend. Eric Carter, the 2003 UCI World Cup Champion, lead the team to the #1 award, and rightly so picked up the award at the World Cup finials in Lugano, Switzerland. Here are the year end rankings.
